Peace Festival in Teaneck

The 7th Annual Peace Festival will take place on Saturday, September 19, at Milton A. Votee Park in Teaneck, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Hosted by Peace Islands Institute NJ, the family-friendly cultural festival brings together residents, families, community groups, and organizations from across New Jersey for an afternoon of music, dance, food, activities, and community connection. Festival highlights include a community bike and walk, multicultural live music and dance performances, children’s activities, art and face painting, cultural and community organization showcases, food and desserts, raffles, and family fun. The nonpartisan event is centered on friendship, mutual respect, and bringing people from different backgrounds together through shared experiences. This year’s festival is being held in recognition of the International Day of Peace and will embrace the theme, “Invest in Peace — For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.” Milton A.
